Navigating Depression Support Group In Vaughan

Our depression support group in Vaughan provides adults 18+ with a safe, supportive, and confidential space to better understand depression and connect with others who may be facing similar experiences. This therapist-led support group offers a safe, supportive, and confidential space to connect with others who understand what you’re going through. Together, participants will explore practical coping strategies, build resilience, gain emotional support, and take meaningful steps toward healing, hope, and improved well-being.

Who Is Our Depression Support Group in Vaughan For?

This group is designed for adults ages 18+ who are experiencing depression or depressive symptoms and are looking for additional support in a group setting.

You may be feeling emotionally drained, disconnected, unmotivated, isolated, or stuck in patterns that have become difficult to manage on your own. This group offers an opportunity to better understand what you’re experiencing while developing practical strategies and connecting with others who may be facing similar challenges.

Dates: Thursdays, October 8, 15, 22 & 29 and November 5 & 12, 2026
Time: 8:00–9:30 p.m.
Location: In-person at STAR Holistic Services
Cost: $55 per session ($330 total)

- Recognizing thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may contribute to feeling stuck
- Developing practical coping strategies
- Managing difficult or overwhelming emotions
- Building emotional resilience
- Increasing connection and reducing feelings of isolation
- Strengthening self-awareness and self-confidence
- Creating realistic steps toward improved well-being

Meet The Facilitator

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Elisa is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted.

Her work includes supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, social isolation, stress, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties, relationship concerns, grief, and major life transitions. Elisa works collaboratively with clients to better understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck while building practical strategies that support meaningful change.

Her approach focuses on helping clients strengthen their coping skills, build resilience and confidence, and feel more grounded and empowered in their everyday lives.
