"It’s an honour to walk alongside my clients on their healing journey. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with greater confidence and clarity".
About Me
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and create meaningful change.
I have extensive experience providing clinical counselling, supervision, program development, and psychoeducational programming across private practice, child welfare, educational, and community-based settings. I support adults, children, adolescents, couples, families, and groups through trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches that foster resilience, personal growth, emotional well-being, and meaningful change.
I also have extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, adverse life experiences, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, parenting concerns, and major life transitions. I believe that many of the struggles we experience today are rooted in our past experiences, relationships, and environments. Together, we explore these patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical strategies that foster resilience, self-awareness, and lasting well-being.
My clinical practice is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based care and integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and attachment-informed practice. Every treatment plan is tailored to each client's unique experiences, strengths, goals, and pace of healing.
With over a decade of experience in child welfare as a Child Protection Worker, along with fostering more than 30 children and youth through Children's Aid Societies across Ontario, I bring a deep understanding of trauma, attachment, parenting, complex family systems, and resilience to my work. These experiences have shaped my compassionate and holistic approach to helping clients navigate adversity and move toward healing.
As a Certified Mat Pilates Instructor, I am passionate about integrating mental health, movement, and wellness into my work, recognizing the powerful connection between physical and emotional well-being. By taking a holistic approach, I help clients develop sustainable strategies that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience and overall wellness.
Above all, I believe that healing happens within safe, trusting relationships. My goal is to ensure every client feels seen, heard, understood, and supported as they reconnect with their strengths, overcome life's challenges, and build a more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling life.
